Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman was an American female gymnast who was captain for her team in the US women's Olympic gymnastics 2012 Fierce Five team and in the year 2016. In 2016, she was part of the Final Five. In the 2012 Olympics she was awarded gold on both the team floor and the individual competitions. The bronze was won with using the balance bar. In 2012 she was one of the few American athlete to win the highest number of medals at the Olympics. The 2016 Olympics saw her win the gold medal in the team event, earning her and Gabby the distinction of being the first Americans to ever win consecutive gold medals for a team. Additionally, she won silver medals at the all-around individual event and in the floor workout. She took a three-year break between the two Olympics to not compete in gymnastics. Furthermore she was part of two gold-winning American gymnastics teams. She began her gymnastics training at age 2 and loves the floor workout. Aly has enrolled in her local Uniting Against Lung Cancer group in honor of her late grandma. She hopes to build the opportunity to have a career that is successful as a fashion designer. The leotards she wears as a signature as well as socks, and other clothing are expected to be enlarged in the near future. Fierce will be out in the summer of this year.
